Senior Manager, IT – Web Capability (Web Solution Owner)
Core Responsibilities
- Drive commercial web strategy and multi-year roadmap using omnichannel-by-default, AI-driven insights, and intelligent automation.
- Establish and enforce end-to-end web governance (domain management, UX standards/design systems, AI/chatbot content governance, privacy/cookie compliance).
- Lead demand management, capacity planning, and prioritization across web portfolio workstreams.
- Oversee full website development lifecycle (intake, planning, execution, deployment, optimization) to ensure on-time/on-budget delivery.
- Drive release planning, deployment scheduling, and web operations with delivery leads and managed service providers.
- Define/execute AI and conversational experience strategy (chatbots, virtual assistants, live-chat handoff).
- Ensure conversational flows comply with MLR review processes for AI/chatbot content.
- Lead AI-driven personalization (recommendation engines, predictive analytics, behavioral models).
- Act as single point of accountability/escalation; translate business needs into IT roadmap items and proposals.
- Provide proactive communication on status, risks, and strategic decisions.
- Maintain expertise in enterprise CMS (Sitecore/AEM/comparable), headless/static architectures, cloud hosting; manage AI-driven content operations and analytics/personalization/consent (OneTrust) plus SEO/SEM.
Basic Qualifications
- Bachelor’s + 8 years’ experience OR Master’s + 6 years’ experience.
Preferred Qualifications
- 10+ years IT; 5+ years pharma/biotech/life sciences (US Commercial preferred); 3+ years leading cross-functional teams/vendors; 2+ years CMS (Sitecore), conversational AI/chatbots in regulated industry.
Compensation/Benefits
- Salary range: $169,320.00–$219,120.00. May be eligible for discretionary bonus, stock LTIs, paid time off, and company-sponsored medical/dental/vision/life insurance.
