Role Summary

Sr Manager, Integrated Insights and Strategy (IIS) – Insights for Prevnar Adult Vaccine. The role designs and executes high-quality primary market research to represent the voice of the customer and inform strategic brand priorities. This position manages market research plans with a budget exceeding $1M for US and global markets and serves as a key strategic contact for US and global brand leadership.

Responsibilities

  • Provide strategic thought partnership to US and Global commercial teams to drive investment decisions, strategies and tactical plans.
  • Act as strategic partner to frame, investigate, and answer key business questions related to the identification and evaluation of commercial strategies and tactics.
  • Design and execute market research studies, serving as voice of the customer for the brand strategy team.
  • Develop and execute creation of in-house knowledge base to drive patient and HCP insights.
  • Develop and monitor key performance metrics to evaluate and enhance the effectiveness of a brand’s marketing campaign.
  • Recommend campaign improvement and corrective actions.
  • Evaluate campaign assets to ensure optimal customer experience steeped in deep customer insights.
  • Integrate campaign insights to broader analytic activities to paint the full picture of marketing execution and customer behavior and inform resource allocation decisions.
  • Play a key role in advancing the vision for the future direction of brand activities.
  • Lead the end-to-end vendor selection and management process, including contract negotiation and performance oversight. Partner with vendor/contingent workers to ensure delivery of high-quality market research for U.S. and global markets, aligned with business objectives and compliance standards.
  • Partner with cross-functional teams – data science, analytics engineering, market research, and media – as needed. Align with other analytic teams to ensure cohesive activities with stakeholders.
  • Contribute to advancement of team capabilities through thought leadership; share knowledge and expertise with colleagues via knowledge sharing platforms.

Qualifications

  • Required: BA/BS in Marketing, Psychology, Mathematics, Statistics, or Engineering or related field; MS or MBA preferred.
  • Required: 6+ years in consulting or market analytics/market research (5+ years for MS or MBA).
  • Required: Demonstrated ability to develop market research plans and lead research projects with a budget of >$1M annually.
  • Required: Experience leading end-to-end vendor selection and management for US and international market research, ensuring compliance and high-quality execution.
  • Required: Ability to frame, design, and execute solutions for challenging business situations; knowledge of multiple analytic disciplines (primary and secondary data) and ability to derive timely insights.
  • Required: Track record of partnering with brand leaders and influencing without authority; strong teamwork and collaboration; excellent listening, communication, and presentation skills.
  • Required: Proficiency in PPT and Excel.
  • Preferred: 3+ years of vaccines experience.
  • Preferred: Experience leading global and US market research for consumer and HCP insights.
  • Preferred: Understanding of IQVIA (DDD, LAAD) and other secondary data sources.

Education

  • BA/BS in Marketing, Psychology, Mathematics, Statistics, or Engineering or related field; MS or MBA preferred.

Additional Requirements

  • Limited business travel required.
