Position Brand Description:
A seasoned maintenance leader with administrative and supervisory responsibility, including coaching, performance reviews, staff development, resourcing, and succession planning. Serves as a subject matter expert in maintenance practices, CMMS systems, SOPs, and training processes. Accountable for performance and deliverables of the Facilities/Utilities Maintenance Group, overseeing business process improvements and maintenance training program implementation. Ensures compliance with safety procedures, ALCOA+ principles, and HSE goals. Delegates for the Maintenance Associate Director as needed.

Key Objectives / Deliverables:
- Satisfy administrative and supervisory requirements (coaching, performance reviews, development, learning plans, resourcing, succession planning).
- Promote development through support, coaching, and opportunities.
- Serve as Subject Matter Expert on maintenance practices, CMMS, and Maintenance SOPs.
- Document, measure, and improve effectiveness/efficiency of key maintenance business processes.
- Oversee and be accountable for overall deliverables of the Facilities/Utilities Maintenance Group.
- Design, implement, and manage the maintenance training program; act as SME on maintenance training processes.
- Perform project management for maintenance training initiatives.
- Safety: ensure compliance with safety procedures/policies/permits; maintain safe work environment; support HSE corporate and site goals.
- Lead accident/near-miss reviews and incident notifications; ensure proper housekeeping; build safety and quality culture; ensure ALCOA+ compliance.
- Act as delegate for Facilities/Maintenance Associate Director as needed.

Minimum Requirements:
- Bachelor’s Degree in Engineering.
- Previous technical support experience in a manufacturing environment.
- Minimum 3 years’ experience in Maintenance or Engineering.
- Authorized to work in the United States full-time; Lilly will not sponsor work authorization/visas.

Additional Preferences:
- Pharmaceutical industry experience.
- Strong organization, problem-solving/analytical skills.
- Ability to work independently and lead teams.
- Facilities/Utilities systems and infrastructure experience.
- People skills across organizational levels.
- Familiarity with GMARS or similar systems; continuous improvement mindset.
- Experience developing/mentoring staff; strategic partnership building.
- Data analysis experience.

Other Information:
- Occasional travel may be required.
