Sr. Manager, Global Supply Chain Logistics

Role: Senior Manager, Global Logistics, responsible for end-to-end management and optimization of domestic and international shipments of patient specimens and materials supporting FMI’s diagnostic network. Core responsibilities include defining logistics strategy, managing lane performance, leading network optimization, ensuring compliance with GDP and shipping regulations (e.g., UN3373, IATA DGR), overseeing carrier/3PL relationships, and driving continuous improvement through data analytics and SOP governance. Also responsible for team leadership, cross-functional stakeholder communication, and risk management. Qualifications: Bachelor's degree in Supply Chain, Logistics, or related field; 6+ years of global logistics experience, including 2+ years in management; proven expertise managing transportation networks, carrier performance, and regulated shipping compliance; strong analytical, stakeholder management, and cross-functional collaboration skills. Preferred qualifications include a Master’s degree, experience with biological substance shipping, diagnostics or biotech logistics, and knowledge of global trade and GxP principles. The role is based in Boston, MA, and involves strategic leadership to ensure logistics performance, compliance, and resilience, supporting FMI’s patient-centric testing operations.
