Role Summary

Senior Manager Global Procurement – Direct CMO. Provides strategic leadership and acts as the single point of contact for Global Procurement at the internal Drug Product Manufacturing facility, collaborating with Manufacturing and Global Procurement Category owners to drive category strategy, supplier relationships, and stakeholder alignment.

Responsibilities

  • Accountable for supporting the definition and implementation of the Drug Product manufacturing category strategy to serve business needs as assigned.
  • Work with numerous service and goods providers that support a variety of Drug Product MFG services and goods.
  • Interact with stakeholders across the IOPS organization to lead discussions related to the Drug Product MFG categories and aligns category priorities with Procurement category leads, management and stakeholders.
  • Handle negotiations and complex contracts/contracting, supplier management activities, and stakeholder engagement activities.
  • Take direction to drive value in terms of cost savings, cash flow improvement, and other efficiency savings from category management activities.
  • Manage and collaborate in category activities to ensure compliance with appropriate GxPs and other applicable regulations, as applicable.
  • Negotiate contract terms and conditions in consultation with Law department aligned with Regeneron’s priorities and business requirements.

Qualifications

  • Required: Bachelor’s degree in a relevant field plus progressive experience in procurement, preferably including substantial experience in Pharma/BioPharma.
  • Sr Manager: 7+ years of experience in relevant functions or industries.

Skills

  • Experience establishing and driving Supplier Relationship Management (SRM) programs and governance models.
  • Experience in the MaB, Large Molecule manufacturing environment.
  • Negotiation and contract management skills.
  • Experience managing category stage gate processes, including strategy development and execution.
  • Ability to use external data sources, market information, and supplier engagement to improve knowledge of supply market dynamics.
  • Experience supporting global supply market evaluation processes using market intelligence, risk, compliance, and financial assessment tools.
  • Ability to build relationships with stakeholders and suppliers to drive results.
  • Experience working with cross-functional teams in research and pre-clinical service categories or related categories through sourcing, negotiations and contracting.
  • Knowledge of Drug Product manufacturing processes.

Education

  • Bachelor’s degree in a relevant field required.
