Medical Affairs
Key Responsibilities:
- Serve as subject matter expert for Medical Information for assigned therapeutic areas and/or products.
- Develop, maintain, and deliver global Medical Information content aligned to regional/country needs and consistent with global Medical Affairs content.
- Research and analyze scientific information to answer escalated Medical Information inquiries.
- Guide appropriate use of scientific evidence by reviewing external compendia (e.g., Medical Letter, MediSpan, treatment guidelines).
- Support key scientific conventions/congresses via medical booth assets, cross-functional meeting preparation/post-congress involvement, booth staffing, and booth metrics reporting.
- Provide Medical Information input to development/revision of SOPs, implementation guidelines (IGs), and Work Instructions (WIs).
- Provide ongoing training to call center agents and other relevant individuals on new/updated Medical Information content.
- Establish and monitor enquiry trends/metrics; identify unmet content needs and communicate product trends to the business.
- Handle complex inquiries escalated by call center and field-based personnel.
- Monitor call center response quality/accuracy; identify corrective actions or training to ensure compliance with regional/local regulations and internal SOPs.

Requirements:
- PharmD/PhD/MD/Doctorate of Nursing degree and at least 7 years’ experience in Medical Information, Medical Affairs, or comparable medical information experience.
- Advanced skills in critically evaluating literature and writing/summarizing clinical/scientific data.
- Strong oral and written communication skills; strong analytical skills.
- Ability to recognize needs, prioritize work, take initiative, collaborate effectively, and work independently on complex projects.
- Proficiency with computer/software applications (e.g., Microsoft Office) and MI systems for information requests/content management; skilled use of medical literature and drug information databases.
- 15–20% travel.
