Within the Performance Analytics & Insights organization, we are seeking a Senior Manager of Forecasting Center of Excellence to drive forecasting excellence across the Pfizer enterprise. This role will work closely with business stakeholders within the Primary Care, Specialty Care, and Global / International Division to support efforts to standardize and centralize forecasting, as well as work to deliver best-in-class approaches to increase the precision and accuracy of forecasting to drive decision-making. This role is dynamic, fast-paced, highly collaborative, and covers a broad range of topics that are critical to our business. The successful candidate will join Global Commercial Analytics (GCA) colleagues worldwide that are dedicated to helping drive business through proactive thought leadership, innovative research capabilities, and the ability to communicate complex information in new and creative ways.

Role Responsibilities

Role definition and Key Accountabilities include, but are not limited to:

  • Design and deliver simple patient-based forecasting tools, with appropriate analytic capability support in-line and new to launch products.
  • Frame and translate complex patient flows into simplified model approaches used by IIS and local market colleagues.
  • Execute vision for how to simplify and standardize execution of forecasting at PFE, including platforms and processes.
  • Actively manage and oversee external vendors supporting forecast model/tool development.
  • Support execution of processes (e.g. annual planning) to develop portfolio-level risk and opportunity assessments for PFE leadership.
  • Support enterprise-level initiatives and evaluations using analyst reports and other secondary data.
  • Serve as a Centers of Excellence, providing expert epi-forecasting consultation to BIR leaders and teams.

Technical Skills

  • Experience in financial valuation, forecasting, business proposal and/or other related projects.
  • Previous experience using epi-/complex-forecasting models to forecast patient demand and revenue.
  • Senior Stakeholder management experience.

Basic Qualifications

  • Bachelor’s degree required, ideally in quantitative discipline; also advanced degree preferred in business administration, statistics, or another relevant field.
  • 6+ years of work experience in Biopharma, business analytics function, and/or strategic consulting.
  • Fluent in English (written and spoken).
  • Strong forecast modeling (Excel/Excel VBA, data analysis) and PowerPoint skills.
  • Strong project management skills: Overseeing complex, cross-functional projects, ensuring delivery on time and within budget.
  • Technical Strategy: Demonstrated analytical capabilities and critical thinking skills and ability to identify new issues, trends, and opportunities from data.
  • Operational Excellence: Ensuring the reliability, efficiency, and quality of data services and pipelines.
  • Collaboration: Ability to influence without authority, setting business direction, priorities, and action plans.
  • Communication: Strong written and verbal communication skills.

Preferred Qualifications

  • MA, MS, MBA or equivalent advanced degree in business or healthcare.
  • Prior experience in biopharma forecasting, life sciences consulting, financial services, or other analytical profession.

Limited business travel may be required (up to 20% travel may be required).

Work Location Assignment: Must be able to work in assigned Pfizer office 2-3 days per week, or as needed by the business.

Compensation and Benefits

The annual base salary for this position ranges from $120,800.00 to $201,400.00. In addition, this position is eligible for participation in Pfizer’s Global Performance Plan with a bonus target of 17.5% of the base salary and eligibility to participate in our share-based long-term incentive program.
