What You’ll Do

You are a culture champion, talent identifier, performance overseer, and services beacon where execution is always the goal. You will play a critical role in aligning People strategies with business objectives to drive organizational performance. Acting as a trusted advisor, the People Partner collaborates with senior leaders and key stakeholders to provide strategic HR guidance and support across multiple business functions. This position requires deep expertise in HR practices, excellent interpersonal skills, and the ability to influence business decisions to drive sustainable growth and a high-performing culture. The ideal candidate will have experience working for a public company in the life sciences sector.
Responsibilities
- Partner with business leaders to understand organizational goals, challenges, and opportunities; advise on People strategies that support business success
- Serve as a trusted advisor and coach to leaders, providing insights on employee engagement, retention, performance management, and organizational development
- Guide and oversee People programs within client group talent management initiatives, including performance management, workforce planning, succession planning, and leadership development
- Partner with COEs with administering people-related programs, compensation, community, benefits and leave of absence, workforce analytics
- Act as a trusted advisor on employee relations issues and ensure compliance with company policies, labor laws, and regulations—guide managers on conflict resolution, disciplinary actions, and performance improvement plans
- Collaborate with Talent Acquisition teams to develop and execute effective recruitment strategies, ensuring the attraction of top-tier talent
- Analyze turnover data, identify root causes, and recommend and implement strategies to improve employee retention
- Lead initiatives to enhance organizational design, optimize team structures, and ensure efficient business operations
- Support change management efforts during organizational transitions, acquisitions, or other business transformations
- Partner with legal, ensuring adherence to employment laws and company policies
- Foster strong relationships across business units, ensuring leadership understands and supports People’s priorities
Where You’ll Work
This is a hybrid role and requires in-office collaboration 2x per week, or as needed, in our San Francisco, CA office.
Who You Are
- 5-8 years of progressive HR experience with at least 3 years in a strategic HRBP role
- Bachelor’s degree required or equivalent experience
- Experience working in a Life Sciences organization who have a commercialized product a plus
- Strong knowledge of HR best practices, employment law, and organizational development principles
- Excellent communication, interpersonal, and conflict-resolution skills
- Ability to build strong relationships at all levels of the organization, from executives to individual contributors
- High level of business acumen and ability to align HR initiatives with business objectives
- Strong data analysis skills with the ability to leverage metrics to drive decision-making
- Up to 10% travel

Below is the anticipated salary range for candidates for this role who will work in California. The final salary offered to a successful candidate will depend on several factors that may include but are not limited to the type and length of experience within the job, type, and length of experience within the industry, educational background, location of residence and performance during the interview process. BridgeBio is a multi-state employer, and this salary range may not reflect positions based in other states.
