Sr. Maintenance Technician

Role: Senior Maintenance Technician supporting manufacturing, process development, research, QC, and laboratory operations in a biopharma environment. Objectives: perform preventive maintenance, troubleshooting, repairs, and equipment modifications, ensuring compliance with cGMP, GDP, and CDC standards. Responsibilities: conduct routine and non-routine equipment maintenance on process and utility equipment; develop and modify SOPs; support validation and startup of new equipment; coordinate with vendors and contractors; assist in developing spare parts inventory; provide technical training and act as backup for facilities management. Requirements: associate’s degree in engineering or equivalent experience; 3+ years in regulated industry maintenance; high mechanical aptitude; ability to read schematics, P&IDs, and electrical diagrams; capable of lifting up to 50 lbs; familiar with electrical, plumbing, HVAC, process equipment, and calibration practices. Preferred: extensive experience in pharmaceutical/biopharmaceutical maintenance; advanced electrical/mechanical knowledge; experience with bioreactors, autoclaves, lyophilizers, and process systems; knowledge of PLCs, toxin manufacturing, and CDC regulations.
