Role: The position focuses on driving sales and business development within a long-term care (LTC) territory for Acadia Pharmaceuticals' neurological and rare disease portfolio, including marketed therapies for Parkinson’s psychosis and Rett syndrome, and pipeline programs in Alzheimer’s and Lewy body dementia. Responsibilities: build and maintain relationships with LTC care team members, promote products through clinical and reimbursement education, address customer inquiries with advanced selling skills, develop strategic business plans, and collaborate cross-functionally to meet sales targets. Requirements: Bachelor's degree (preferably in life sciences), 1-2 years of healthcare sales experience (neuroscience preferred) for Sales Specialist level, with senior levels requiring 8+ or 12+ years of healthcare sales experience including complex or account-based selling. Skills: strong knowledge of neuroscience, LTC market dynamics, payer systems, excellent negotiation and leadership abilities, proficiency in Microsoft Office and virtual platforms. HighValue: focus on neuroscience, LTC, complex healthcare sales, with travel up to 80%. Work setup: roles based in Georgia with extensive travel, including overnight stays.
