Role Summary

Sr. Long-Term Care Regional Sales Manager, Northeast. The Regional Sales Manager (LTC) leads and holds accountable a high-performing team of Long-Term Care Sales Specialists to achieve sales goals, serving as an expert resource in the LTC environment and fostering a high-performance, customer-focused culture.

Responsibilities

  • Lead and Manage the Team: Recruit, hire, and onboard LTC Sales Specialists; set performance expectations; coach and develop a customer-centric culture; plan and lead sales meetings; maintain compliance with policies and regulations.
  • Coach and Develop: Conduct regular field visits, establish development plans, provide coaching reports, partner with training teams, and share field insights with cross-functional partners.
  • Manage the Business: Develop and execute regional plans aligned with national LTC strategy; manage regional budget; analyze sales data; achieve/exceed regional sales goals; collaborate with Marketing, Market Access, and other functions; participate in corporate initiatives.

Qualifications

  • Bachelor’s degree required; Business or Life Sciences preferred.
  • 5+ years of progressively responsible experience in the pharmaceutical/biotech industry with at least 2 years in sales management for LTC Regional Sales Manager; neuroscience and specialty sales experience strongly preferred.
  • 8+ years for Sr. LTC Regional Sales Manager with at least 5 years in sales management; neuroscience and specialty sales experience strongly preferred.
  • Previous Long-Term Care and specialty sales experience strongly preferred.
  • Proven ability to lead teams to exceed sales targets, manage performance, and document performance discussions.
  • Strong interpersonal and communication skills; ability to build relationships with LTC customers and internal partners.
  • Influence, inspire, and motivate others toward goals; skilled in verbal/written performance evaluations and documentation.
  • Business acumen to identify opportunities and anticipate customer needs.
  • Must live within the assigned region near a major airport; valid driver’s license and acceptable driving record.
  • Travel up to 80% and willingness to work after hours as needed by travel schedule; may require living near a major airport.
