Description Overview
The Sr Information Security Engineer designs, implements, and maintains enterprise security controls across network, identity, endpoint, cloud, and privileged access domains. Supports both operational security and strategic initiatives to enhance the organization’s cybersecurity posture.
Scope of the Role
Security Engineering & Operations
- Design, implement, and manage enterprise security controls across network, endpoint, identity, and cloud environments
- Monitor and continuously improve security controls and tooling effectiveness
- Support incident response activities, including investigation and remediation
Network Security
- Configure and maintain firewall policies across Palo Alto and Cisco platforms
- Support network segmentation (DMZ and internal segmentation design)
- Perform rule reviews, audits, and optimization to reduce risk
Identity & Access Security
- Implement/support Cisco ISE for network access control and authentication
- Support secure access initiatives leveraging Cisco Secure Internet Access
Endpoint & Threat Protection
- Deploy, configure, and maintain CrowdStrike Falcon (EDR, Identity Protection, threat intelligence integrations)
- Improve threat detection, analysis, and response
Cloud Security (Azure)
- Design/implement Azure-native controls: NSGs, Azure Firewall, WAFs
- Support secure cloud architecture patterns and zero trust
Required Qualifications
- Bachelor’s in Cybersecurity/IT (or equivalent experience)
- Mid-Level: 3–5+ years cybersecurity experience
- Senior-Level: 7+ years with design/lead responsibility
- Strong understanding of enterprise security principles
Desired Technical Experience
- Cisco ISE; Cisco Secure Access (SASE/Zero Trust)
- CrowdStrike Falcon; Palo Alto/Cisco firewalls
- Azure security services; Cloudflare
- Hybrid enterprise environment experience
