Senior Field Activation Specialist (HIV Prevention Team) — CA Central Valley (Sacramento, Fresno, Modesto, Stockton and surrounding areas)
Responsibilities
- Represent Gilead products/services to a defined customer base; grow sales with “Non-writers” in Areas of High Unmet Need and consistently achieve/exceed sales targets.
- Manage territory with a business plan; monitor progress and adjust strategies.
- Build relationships with healthcare providers; deliver disease awareness, clinical updates, and education; translate complex clinical concepts into clear, tailored messages.
- Maintain deep product/disease state knowledge; promote appropriate product use in line with relevant industry and promotional guidelines.
- Partner with local cross-functional colleagues to support access, acquisition, administration, and operations; perform required administrative reporting and expense/territory budget management.
Skills/Competencies
- Advanced communication; sales acumen; technical/scientific proficiency.
- Cultural awareness and comfort in sexual health conversations.
- Strong collaboration in a cross-functional matrix; relationship/influencing skills.
- Autonomy, ethical leadership, patient-centric mindset; key account management and multi-product experience.
Basic Qualifications
- Bachelor’s + 6 years OR Master’s + 4 years.
- Valid driver’s license; ability to travel and meet onsite visitation requirements.
Preferred Qualifications
- BA/BS; 7+ years industry sales; experience in specialty/complex markets; injectable physician-administered products; managed care familiarity.
Compensation/Benefits
- Salary range: $133,195–$172,370; may include annual bonus, long-term incentives, PTO, and company-sponsored medical/dental/vision/life insurance.
