Sr. Engineer, R&D (Biomaterials)

Role: Senior R&D Engineer leading development of innovative products to treat peripheral nerve injuries, from concept through commercialization. Responsibilities: apply biomaterials expertise to optimize product performance, serve as technical lead on development projects, collaborate cross-functionally with Quality, Regulatory, Operations, Marketing, and Medical Affairs; generate prototypes, conduct testing and validation; support risk management, documentation, and intellectual property efforts; mentor team members. Requirements: Bachelor's degree in Biomedical, Mechanical, Chemical Engineering, or Materials Science; 5+ years in medical device or pharma product development; strong biomaterials knowledge; experience with FDA-regulated environments, design controls, risk management, verification/validation; effective technical communication.
