Role Summary
Sr engineer new product introduction VI-LT
Responsibilities
Develop and implement best practices: Establish, document, and maintain best practices for visual inspection and leak detection processes.
Technical guidance: Provide expert technical guidance and support to inspection teams, third parties and suppliers ensuring compliance with industry standards and regulatory requirements.
Test sets and control strategy: review test sets composition, test set sourcing, align validation and control strategies
Training and development: Design and conduct training programs for inspection personnel to enhance their skills and knowledge in visual inspection and leak detection techniques.
Quality assurance: Oversee and ensure the quality and accuracy of inspection reports and findings with good knowledge of compendia, implementing corrective actions when necessary.
Process improvement: Identify opportunities for process improvements and implement innovative solutions to enhance inspection efficiency and effectiveness.
Collaboration: Work closely with third party CMOS, engineering, maintenance, and operations teams to address inspection-related issues and develop integrated solutions.
Reporting: Prepare detailed reports and presentations for management, highlighting key findings and recommendations for action.
Compliance: Ensure all inspection activities are conducted in accordance with relevant health, quality, safety, and environmental regulations.
Qualifications
Bachelorโรรดs degree in Mechanical Engineering, Chemical Engineering, or a related field.
Minimum of 7+ years of experience in visual inspection and leak detection, preferably in pharmaceutical, the oil and gas, petrochemical, or food manufacturing industries.
3+ years of experience in the use of inspection tools and technologies, including, automated visual inspection, non-destructive testing (NDT) methods and leak detection equipment.
Education
Masterโรรดs degree in a relevant field.
Skills
Experience with advanced leak detection technologies and methods.
Previous experience in a supervisory or leadership role.
Certifications: Relevant certifications such as API 510, API 570, ASNT Level III in Visual Testing (VT), or equivalent.
Analytical skills: Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to interpret complex data and make sound recommendations.
Communication skills: Excellent verbal and written communication skills, write right, with the ability to effectively convey technical information to diverse audiences. Influencing skills.
