Role Summary
Sr. Director - US Vaccines Portfolio Marketing Lead. Lead Pfizer's US Vaccines Portfolio Marketing Strategy, overseeing a team of marketers focused on strategy and breakthrough execution at scale with two focus areas: external engagement and vaccine implementation programs. The role leads cross-functional collaboration with internal partners and external strategic partners to maximize portfolio impact, align with CDC/ACIP guidelines, and drive immunization rate growth.
Responsibilities
- Accountable and responsible for delivering the US vaccines in-line portfolio strategy and driving execution across internal and external partners to meet key performance measures/outcomes
- Accountable for determination of key external stakeholders, priority segments/customers, communication/promotional/engagement strategies and execution
- Lead a marketing team dedicated to development of external engagement strategies and campaigns to address key/priority belief and behavior change opportunities including- closing HCP/Consumer perception gap, improving impact of HCP recommendations, identification and prioritization of opportunities w/ overlapping populations (e.g. Underlying Medical Conditions), development of integrated portfolio engagement plan across key opinion leaders/external experts/professional associations/congresses
- Lead a marketing team dedicated to the prioritization, development and execution of opportunities to increase vaccine implementation/utilization including- Reminder Recall/Adherence programs, Health Information Technology Strategy & Execution, key external partnerships that advance vaccine implementation (e.g. AMGA vaccine confidence in coverage, growing IZ rates, Part D adjudication)
- Coach & develop team of marketers to develop marketing skills, capabilities and competencies while supporting career planning, development and progression
- Lead cross functional team across key internal and external partners to build integrated learning and measurement plan for execution against objectives
- Contribute to achieving business unit revenue commitments and responsibly maximizing SI&A budget
Qualifications
- Required: Bachelor's degree with 12+ years of sales / marketing pharmaceutical experiences
- Preferred: Masters degree with 15+ years of sales / marketing pharmaceutical experiences
- Preferred: Vaccines sales / marketing experience
- Preferred: Health Information Technology, Population Based Decision Maker, KOL/EE/Professional Association marketing experiences
- Preferred: Experience leading, coaching, developing sales / marketing teams
