Sr. Director, US Contracting & Pricing Strategy

Responsibilities:
- Lead a 5-person team responsible for Contracting & Pricing for Gilead’s Virology portfolio.
- Develop gross-to-net strategy across payer/provider/channel for assigned therapeutic areas; ensure an aligned value story.
- Understand WAC strategy; develop in-line and launch strategies via cross-functional collaboration.
- Own Virology contract price concessions: payer rebates, provider discounts, pricing decisions, and channel discounts; execute analytics-based contracting strategies across Commercial, Medicaid, and Medicare.
- Provide payer/access stakeholder insights; develop POV on market access evolution and orchestrate execution with customer negotiating teams.
- Drive rebate investment recommendations to optimize gross-to-net.
- Partner on GTN elements (pricing, channel discounts, provider contracting) and lead contract assessments through governance.
- Assess/develop VBAs; evaluate provider discounting strategies; plan contract strategy across lifecycle stages (launch, post-launch, LOE).
- Monitor contract/channel/product trends; resolve issues with leadership.
- Build customer expertise; maintain product/segment knowledge (Commercial, Medicare, Medicaid, Federal).
- Enhance financial modeling; develop VBA capabilities for US launch access strategies.
Basic Qualifications:
- Bachelor’s + 14 years OR Master’s + 12 years OR PhD + 12 years.
Preferred Qualifications (highlights):
- US healthcare/payer-reimbursement expertise; leadership + strategic/analytical skills; track record in strategy execution; negotiation/complex contracting experience; people management; inclusion, talent development, and team empowerment.
