Job Responsibilities
- Partner with Therapeutic Areas to understand target patients, insights, strategic imperatives, competitive landscape, and KPIs.
- Lead agency creative platform/campaign/program development (Big Idea, FOIs, PESOfest buildouts) and confirm creative briefs.
- Maintain creative POV/vision; provide clear direction to internal/external partners.
- Ensure 360-degree channel extensions are embedded in recommendations; collaborate with Central Marketing (Consumer) and Integrated Agency Team.
- Supervise creative campaign/program plans via primary AoR or equivalent IAT experience.
- Lead celebrity and/or social influencer campaign development, timelines, and execution.
- Conduct qualitative/quantitative market research and testing to validate consumer viability.
- Lead pre-bid through post-production with vendors; ensure budget/objectives alignment.
- Own OPDP submission processes and ensure regulatory compliance from development through execution.
- Lead on-time/on-budget execution; integrate Owned/Paid/Earned/Shared recommendations.
- Ensure Masterbrand and U.S. Consumer creative standards and regulatory/compliance parameters.
- Develop at-risk shooting strategies; lead rough cut reviews and optimizations.
- Approve complementary 360-degree assets; oversee deliverables and project plans.
- Partner with BI&A/Media on performance KPIs/optimization.
- Lead discontinuation/retirement of tactics (plan approval).

People Management
- Develop/retain/motivate/recruit top marketing talent; champion inclusive culture.
- Mentor and develop U.S. Consumer Campaign teams; provide coaching and quarterly check-ins.

Operations
- Own agency relationships (AoR, social/specialty) and integration with internal agency partners (e.g., Lilly Marketing Studios).
- Develop cross-functional relationships (Regulatory, Legal, Medical, Corporate Communications).
- Manage AoR/production/operating expense budgets; recommend trade-offs to TAs.
- Ensure compliance with Customer Information Quality (CIQ) procedures/tools.

Basic Requirements
- Bachelor’s Degree.
- 10+ years of U.S. consumer marketing experience with direct leadership of creative campaign development/execution.
- Authorization to work in the United States full-time (Lilly does not sponsor visas).

Additional Preferences
- Go-to-market strategy, campaign development, video/digital production, content creation, measurement.
- Multichannel digital media/social experience; cross-functional collaboration.
- Run bidding/agency/vendor selection; celebrity/influencer marketing partnership experience.
- Regulatory compliance experience (OPDP/FDA submissions).
- Strong team leadership, communication/influence; MBA or advanced marketing certification.
