- Lead the in silico antibody discovery team to identify novel binding proteins with optimal drug-like characteristics.
- Collaborate with in vivo and in vitro antibody discovery teams to analyze B cell repertoires (immunized animals) and library outputs using paired and unpaired NGS.
- Partner with Research Data Sciences to build sequence analytics pipelines, identify antibody hits for hit-to-lead screening/evaluation, and develop AI/ML models to streamline lead identification via synthetic approaches.
- Use protein structural insights to expand antibody lead sequences for enhanced affinity, reduced liabilities, and improved developability.
- Set team vision and strategic direction; advance technology platforms and operational excellence.
- Build organizational capabilities to increase frequency and impact of antibody discovery campaigns.
- Communicate transparently with stakeholders in a highly matrixed organization.
- Demonstrate scientific rigor, attention to detail, and commitment to quality, speed, and scalability.
- Manage a diverse team; establish best practices integrating NGS and informatics pipelines into routine workflows.
- May serve as project team leader or core team member driving discovery/engineering of large-molecule candidates.

- Basic: 10+ years with Ph.D. in molecular/cell biology, structural biology, or equivalent.
- Preferred: 14+ years with Ph.D., postdoctoral training, and significant industry experience.
- Strong experience in antigen design, immunization, and NGS for antibody discovery aligned to mechanisms of action and target product profiles.
- Strong preference: structural biology, immunology, or B cell biology.
- Expertise in antibody discovery/engineering and large-scale sequence analysis software.
- Peer-reviewed publications and issued patents.
- Knowledge of biologics expression/purification, functional screening assays, and developability assessments.
- Desirable: IND technical reports and investigator’s brochures (IB).

Benefits / Compensation (if applicable): $261,375.00–$338,250.00; may include discretionary annual bonus, discretionary stock-based long-term incentives, paid time off, and company-sponsored medical/dental/vision/life insurance.
