Responsibilities:
- Develop and execute a strategic vision and roadmap for Marketing Engagement Analytics to deliver end-to-end performance insights across Access & Reimbursement, Patient Engagement, and Marketing, enabling actionable recommendations.
- Develop and execute a strategic vision and roadmap for Hub and Co-Pay Analytics, including measurement, reporting, and modeling of co-pay trends aligned to AbbVie’s forecasting and planning cycle.
- Serve as an advisor to the Head of U.S. Patient Services, Head of Market Access, and U.S. Business Unit Presidents on patient care models, with expertise in patient access, affordability, adherence, technology, data, and partnerships.
- Create an environment where experts thrive; oversee competency models, career paths, onboarding, and training.
- Build and cultivate an industry-leading insights and intelligence team that attracts, develops, and retains talent.
- Direct analytics and data strategy across the patient funnel for all BUs (Immunology, Neuroscience/Eyecare, Oncology, Specialty) to inform access strategy and patient support.
- Oversee cross-functional collaboration to support deal analytics, policy and pipeline insights, payer contract analysis, franchise research, and other access initiatives.
- Partner with stakeholders to translate business needs into insights and intelligence solutions.
- Develop executive leadership on payer modeling and deal analytics.
- Identify opportunities to up-skill expertise via talent attraction and/or strategic sourcing partnerships.
Qualifications:
- Bachelor’s degree required; Master’s in business or STEM preferred.
- 10+ years market research and analytics experience (preferably Pharma/BioTech) with 5+ years management experience.
- Experience leading organizations through major change/transformation.
- Strong leadership (team management, coaching/mentoring, planning, process, influencing).
- Deep knowledge of data, insights, intelligence, and AI methodologies; proven ability to translate large data into actionable outcomes.
- Track record meeting or exceeding qualitative and relevant quantitative targets.
- Ability to communicate statistical/technical concepts to non-technical stakeholders and present to senior executives.
- Experience with third-party pharmaceutical and specialty pharmacy data (e.g., IMS/SHS, CoverMyMeds, ConnectivRx, Relay Health).
- Strong understanding of the U.S. healthcare environment and AbbVie therapeutic areas.
- Cross-functional leadership across analytics, contracting, policy, and brand teams.
- Deep understanding of patient services, payer dynamics, access strategy, funnel analytics, and payer customer experience.
