Sr. Director, LillyDirect Payment Innovation & External Affairs

Role: Senior Director, Payment Innovation & External Affairs for LillyDirect, responsible for shaping payment operations strategy, driving innovation, and expanding payment capabilities over an 18-month roadmap. Responsibilities include developing future payment service plans (e.g., ACH, PayPal, BNPL, international), managing vendor contracts (Adyen, PSPs), and ensuring audit readiness. The role involves monitoring external/regulatory changes, collaborating with cross-functional teams—tech, customer care, finance—and optimizing payment processes. Requirements: Bachelor’s degree; 5+ years in consumer payments operations, customer solutions, or transformation; experience with vendor negotiations; authorized to work in the US. Preferred skills include knowledge of payment flows, enterprise payment platforms, international payment flows, and compliance standards like PCI-DSS; familiarity with SAP S/4HANA and fraud/risk management. Location preference: Indianapolis or San Francisco, with flexibility for remote work and travel. The position reports to the AVP of Business Operations and has direct reports, supporting LillyDirect’s direct-to-consumer pharmacy platform, including GLP-1 therapies. Compensation range: $154,500–$226,600, with bonus potential and comprehensive benefits.
