Sr Director - HSE Manufacturing

Role: Senior Director-HSE leading Health, Safety, and Environmental at Lilly's new Lehigh Valley manufacturing site. Objectives include establishing HSE strategy, management systems, and ensuring compliance during construction, start-up, and operations. Responsibilities encompass building and leading a high-performing HSE organization, advancing a safety culture, developing and implementing HSE programs, managing regulatory interactions, and supporting site transition from construction to routine manufacturing. Qualifications: Bachelor's in science, engineering, or HSE; significant HSE and manufacturing experience; strong leadership, compliance, and risk management skills; experience with CAPA systems and GMP operations; on-site presence required. Preferred: experience with greenfield/site start-up, regulatory knowledge, and cross-functional influence. High-value specifics: overseeing safety in a complex, technologically advanced biopharma manufacturing facility focusing on biologics or advanced modalities, during construction, start-up, and operational phases. Collaboration across Operations, Quality, HR, and Regulatory functions, with a focus on injury-free workplace and continuous improvement.
