Responsibilities:
- Lead the development and execution of integrated Primary Immunodeficiency (PI) and Neuromuscular (NM) brand strategies across the portfolio.
- Own annual brand and financial planning for PI/NM brands (target setting, resource allocation, performance tracking).
- Develop and refine insights-driven omnichannel HCP and patient strategies using claims, market research, field, and digital data.
- Monitor PI/NM brand performance, market dynamics, and competitive landscape; recommend strategic/tactical shifts to close performance gaps.
- Provide strategic marketing leadership across inline PI/NM brands and pipeline assets; ensure portfolio coherence and clear role definition between asset leads, launch leads, and brand owners.
- Partner to align pipeline asset strategies with PI/NM franchise vision, positioning, and long-range plans; integrate launch plans into franchise brand plans while managing dependencies/risks/trade-offs.
- Lead PI/NM people management: inspire/develop a high-performing marketing team, set objectives, coach for marketing excellence, and ensure effective resource deployment and prioritization.
- Partner with PI/NM Sales leadership to align brand strategies with sales execution (targeting, messaging, incentives, field tools).
- Partner with Medical Affairs and educators to support scientific/disease education strategies.
- Collaborate with Market Access/Access Marketing on access and reimbursement strategies, value propositions, and pull-through programs.
- Own PI/NM marketing budgets (planning, phasing, monitoring, optimization).
- Establish KPI frameworks/dashboards and ensure compliant execution of strategies, materials, and programs.
Qualifications (Required):
- Bachelor’s degree (Business, Marketing, Life Sciences, or related preferred).
- 10+ years of progressive pharmaceutical/biotech marketing and/or commercial experience, with significant specialty and/or rare disease experience.
- Demonstrated experience leading brand/franchise strategies across multiple products and indications (strategy, execution, performance management).
- Proven people leadership experience managing/developing marketing teams at Manager/Associate Director/Director level.
- Strong track record planning/supporting major launches or indication expansions in specialty or rare disease.
- Deep understanding of the US healthcare ecosystem (HCP dynamics, payer/access, distribution, rare disease patient journeys).
- Ability to interpret complex data and translate insights into strategy; comfort with analytics, KPIs, and ROI-driven decisions.
Skills (Preferred):
- MBA or other advanced degree.
- Prior experience in Primary Immunodeficiency and/or Neuromuscular marketing or closely related franchises.
- Experience in Immunology or Neurology contexts with complex omnichannel, professional engagement, and patient strategies.
- Strong leadership/communication in a matrixed environment; collaborative enterprise mindset.
- Ability to challenge the status quo and drive innovation with focus on patient/customer experience.
