Responsibilities:
- Define and lead a 3โ€“5 year global strategy and roadmap for Data Network, Voice Network, and Network Security.
- Partner with Enterprise Architecture to establish global reference architectures, engineering standards, and design patterns for LAN/WAN/SD-WAN/Wiโ€‘Fi, voice/collaboration, network segmentation, and secure connectivity (including cloud and third-party connectivity).
- Own network security strategy and execution: secure network design, perimeter/internal controls, Zero Trust alignment, DDoS protection, secure remote access, and continuous improvement (with Cybersecurity/GRC).
- Accountable for global availability, performance, resilience, and lifecycle management of network and voice services; monitoring, incident/problem management, change/release governance, and network/voice KPIs/SLAs.
- Drive security and regulatory compliance requirements and lead resiliency planning, disaster recovery, and business continuity for network services.
- Lead global programs and investments (refresh/modernization, site build/expansion, M&A integration, cloud connectivity) on scope, schedule, budget, and outcomes.
- Direct vendor strategy/performance; manage budgets, contracts, and negotiations to optimize cost, risk, and value.
- Build/lead/develop high-performing global teams and ensure succession pipeline.
- Serve as trusted advisor; communicate strategy, tradeoffs, risks, and outcomes; influence enterprise network/security decisions.
- Demonstrate Ways of Working and Leadership Attributes to drive enterprise mindset, operational excellence, customer focus, and continuous improvement.

Qualifications:
- Bachelorโ€™s degree (or equivalent) and 15+ years of experience.
- Excellent written/verbal communication; ability to connect goals to business objectives.
- Proven people leadership; experience managing 20+ people (including matrixed/virtual/contracted teams).
- Ability to communicate issues to all levels, including C-suite.
- Thought leadership in relevant business/technology domains.
- Experience managing budgets of $20M+.
Preferred:
- Masterโ€™s degree and pharmaceutical industry experience (or 19+ years in a related technical field).
- Experience in technology operations/strategy/planning/implementation or relevant business domain.
