Key Responsibilities
- KOL Mapping/Engagement: Architect national KOL strategy; lead peer-to-peer scientific discussions.
- Medical Education: Plan and execute medical advisory boards, symposia, and clinical training; provide clinical presentations.
- Clinical Support: Facilitate Investigator-Initiated Trials (IITs) and support clinical trial site engagement.
- Medical Inquiries: Respond to unsolicited medical information requests with compliant, objective, scientific accuracy.
- Clinical Trial & Launch Strategy: Identify/assess trial sites, support feasibility and enrollment; synthesize clinical insights and competitive intelligence into actionable recommendations; collaborate with Clinical, Regulatory, and Commercial teams while maintaining compliant medical independence.
- Congress Strategy: Lead major congress planning and session coverage; facilitate data dissemination and manage medical booth/display; report actionable congress intelligence to Commercial and R&D.
- Cross-Functional Collaboration: Support launch readiness with Marketing, Clinical Operations, and Market Access; provide ongoing internal medical/scientific training (including field sales).

Qualifications
Required
- 5+ years Medical Affairs experience (10+ preferred) in pharma/biotech with ownership of KOL mapping/engagement, advisory boards, and medical insights/competitive intelligence.
- Immunology and/or Inflammation training/experience (PharmD/MD/PhD or equivalent strongly preferred).
- Travel-intensive external role ability (~60%).
- Strong Medical Affairs compliance knowledge; exceptional communication with leading physicians/researchers.
Preferred
- Early- to mid-stage biotech experience; prior Player/Coach Field Medical Affairs leadership; experience supporting clinical-stage and pre-launch activities.
