Role Summary
Sr. Director, Electrophysiology Strategic Business Operations tasked with enabling the business strategy and overseeing critical operational initiatives. Location: Irvine, CA with remote work option within the United States.
Responsibilities
- Partner with senior leadership on core processes for advancement of EP business, including Launch Excellence, strategic and business planning, Health of Business Reviews, and portfolio management; coordinate information and requirements with related operational departments; identify tools and approaches to improve marketing and cross-functional execution.
- Collaborate with global and regional Marketing colleagues to accelerate global launch readiness and post-launch support; identify and implement tools or processes to unlock business potential and improve communication.
- Lead budget planning with marketing and finance to track quarterly spend and re-forecast processes.
- Develop and lead metrics to evaluate and optimize ROI of marketing activities; leverage analytics to inform decisions and prepare reports for senior leadership.
Qualifications
- Bachelorβs degree in Business Administration, Business Management, Engineering or related field; MBA preferred.
- Minimum 10 years of healthcare experience in the medical device industry; Cardiovascular or Neurovascular experience preferred.
- Strong project planning and management experience; ability to prioritize and manage multiple projects cross-functionally at all levels.
- Highly organized with strong attention to detail, deadline-driven, and capable of delivering projects from start to finish.
- Proven track record of improving processes and team efficiencies; ability to meet objectives within deadlines.
- Proficiency in adaptability, teamwork, initiative, innovation, integrity, analytical thinking, leadership, strategic thinking, and communication.
- Experience in marketing and/or product management preferred.
- Consistent record of delivering large business-critical transformation initiatives; strong financial acumen.
- Ability to apply an investor-like mindset, driving urgency and tracking performance from ideas to impact.
- Experience in end-to-end business environments from upstream marketing to manufacturing and commercial execution preferred.
- Travel up to 50% with frequent trips to Irvine, CA and US customer sites.
