Position Summary
Reporting to the VP, Global Manufacturing & Supply Chain, the Sr. Director of Commercial Supply Chain will provide strategic and operational leadership for end-to-end supply chain planning across late phase clinical and commercial programs, ensuring uninterrupted supply of small molecule drug substance, drug product and packaging & labeling.

Job Responsibilities
- Define and execute global supply chain strategies for clinical development, commercialization, and lifecycle management.
- Lead end-to-end Sales & Operations Planning (S&OP) and Clinical Operations Planning (C&OP).
- Align demand forecasts with manufacturing and supply capabilities.
- Provide input into supply chain network design, long-term capacity planning, and budget development.
- Collaborate on demand forecasts; lead demand/supply balancing across all supply chain echelons.
- Manage inventory strategy and safety stock; monitor turns/expiry risk/working capital; optimize service vs. cost vs. risk.
- Lead launch supply chain planning (scenario planning, risk mitigation) and support regulatory milestones and market entry.
- Lead long-range network planning; identify/mitigate supply risks; maintain risk management frameworks; support business continuity.
- Lead supply chain planning tools, master data management, and ERP implementation/integration; drive digital transformation.
- Oversee logistics/storage/distribution; ensure CRT and cold-chain compliance; coordinate with CDMOs and distribution partners.
- Partner with External Manufacturing, Quality, Regulatory, Clinical Operations, and Commercial; drive continuous improvement.

Qualifications
- B.S. in Supply Chain, Engineering, Chemistry, or related; MBA preferred.
- 15+ years in pharma/biotech supply chain management.
- Deep expertise in small molecule manufacturing and OSD supply chains.
- Expertise in supply chain planning (S&OP/C&OP), inventory management, launch planning, and CDMO networks.
- Strong GMP/regulatory knowledge (validation, CPV, quality systems).
- Experience with global outsourced networks, ERP implementations, logistics/cold-chain, and supply risk/resilience.
- Strong leadership, communication, and cross-functional collaboration; ability to operate in fast-paced, matrix/virtual environments.

Travel Required: up to 20–25%, globally

Benefits/Compensation
Anticipated base pay range: $248,000–$305,000; eligible for annual performance incentive bonus, new hire equity, ongoing performance-based equity; medical/dental/vision, 401(k) match, unlimited PTO, and paid holidays including winter shutdown.
