Summary
Head of Business Intelligence & Analytics responsible for leading insights and analytics and partnering with U.S. leadership to inform commercialization of Syfovre (Geographic Atrophy).
Roles and Responsibilities
- Lead insights, analytics, and field operations for the Ophthalmology portfolio (market research, secondary analytics, competitive intelligence, data operations, sales operations).
- Develop insights/analytics plans (budget planning, identify data/insights sources, resourcing).
- Provide strategic consulting and market perspective to business stakeholders.
- Lead internal launch performance reviews; represent insights/analytics on cross-functional leadership forums; manage monthly/quarterly business reviews.
- Track brand performance; support cross-functional execution (sales, marketing, patient services, medical, market access).
- Lead annual Brand Planning Situation Analysis.
- Partner with forecasting to align demand/timelines/risks/opportunities with market and performance insights.
- Manage commercial data; build KPIs and dashboards for performance/trends.
- Manage Syfovre commercial field operations (territory alignment, targeting, incentive compensation design, account profiling, CRM build).
- Lead insights projects (research, secondary analytics, commercial assessments, competitive intelligence).
- Partner with patient services, trade-distribution, and marketing to evaluate distribution and go-to-market models.
- Lead pipeline commercial assessments and create business cases for opportunities.
Qualifications
- Masterβs required (business/biology/medicine preferred); MBA/PhD/PharmD preferred.
- 15+ years in market insights/analytics/business intelligence in biopharma (client-side preferred).
Must Haves
- Lead team of insights/analytics professionals and external vendors.
- Translate analyses into actionable insights; strong data accuracy/quality.
- Strong problem-solving, project management, communication, leadership.
- Influence without authority; engage business unit and executive leadership.
Preferred
- Retina experience; ophthalmology experience.
Travel Requirements
- Domestic and international travel up to 25%.
