Roles and Responsibilities (Key Responsibilities)
- Lead insights, analytics, and field operations for the Ophthalmology Portfolio supporting commercialization of Syfovre for Geographic Atrophy (market research, secondary analytics, competitive intelligence, data operations, sales operations).
- Design insights and analytics plans for the Ophthalmology Portfolio (budget planning, identify data/insights sources, resourcing).
- Provide strategic consulting and market perspective to business stakeholders on strategies, opportunities, and risks.
- Lead launch performance reviews and serve as the insights/analytics representative on cross-functional leadership forums; manage monthly and quarterly business reviews with U.S. and executive leadership.
- Track brand performance and support cross-functional execution (sales, marketing, patient services, medical, market access).
- Lead annual Brand Planning Situation Analysis.
- Partner with forecasting to align demand estimates, timelines, risks/opportunities with market insights and performance.
- Manage commercial data with partners to ensure accuracy and speed; build KPIs and dashboards to monitor performance, trends, and execution.
- Manage commercial field operations for Syfovre (territory alignments, targeting, incentive compensation plans, account profiling, CRM build).
- Lead insights projects (market research, secondary data analytics, commercial assessments, competitive intelligence) to inform brand strategy, field execution, and forecasting.
- Partner with patient services, trade-distribution, and marketing to evaluate distribution and go-to-market models.
- Lead pipeline commercial assessments for Ophthalmology and create business cases; collaborate with portfolio strategy, New Product Planning, and Business Development.
Qualifications
- Masterβs degree required (business, biology, or medicine-related preferred); MBA/PhD/PharmD preferred.
- 15+ years progressive biopharma experience in market insights, analytics, or business intelligence (client-side preferred).

- Proven success managing insights/analytics team and external vendors.
- Ability to translate analyses into actionable insights.
- Strong data accuracy/quality focus.
- Excellent problem-solving, project management, communication, and leadership skills.
- Ability to build consensus and influence without authority.
- Proven engagement with business unit and executive leadership.
Preferred:
- Retina experience; Ophthalmology experience.
Travel Requirements
