Sr. Developer - Automation Core

Role: Senior Developer specializing in informatics solutions to support research and preclinical development at Regeneron. Primary objectives include designing and developing LIMS/ELN platform integrations, scientific data workflows, and AI-powered tools to enhance scientific productivity. Responsibilities encompass building server-side plugins, data pipelines, and AI/GenAI solutions (LLMs, RAG pipelines), as well as collaborating with scientists and lab ops to translate scientific needs into scalable technical systems. Requirements: Bachelor's in Computer Science, Bioinformatics, or Life Sciences; 3+ years supporting life sciences R&D; proficiency in Java, Python; experience with LIMS/ELN platforms like Sapio, Benchling, or Dotmatics; familiarity with AI/GenAI frameworks (LangChain, OpenAI APIs); instrument integrations and containerization experience preferred.
