Sr. Data Engineer - Analytical Development

Role: Senior Staff Engineer in Analytical Development (AD) digital transformation, focusing on designing, implementing, and deploying cloud-based ETL pipelines using AWS to process laboratory data. Responsibilities: develop and execute the AD digital roadmap, support large database activities, lead technical ownership of data analytics projects including predictive modeling and dashboard creation (Spotfire, Tableau, Power BI), maintain data platform infrastructure, and collaborate with cross-functional teams on data management and system integration. Qualifications: B.S. in computer science or related field with 8+ years (or M.S. with 9+ years, PhD with 3+ years) of experience in industry; extensive expertise in SQL, AWS, Python, R, DevOps, data pipelines, and statistical concepts; familiarity with cloud platforms (Spark, Databricks, data lakes) and analytical software. Preferred: experience with biologics/pharmaceutical data in manufacturing or support functions, and vendor engagement.
