Responsibilities:
- Develop and maintain the Analytical Development (AD) digital transformation roadmap; deliver vision, projects, and timelines.
- Support large database activities; design and maintain open-source code extraction algorithms.
- Take technical ownership of digital transformation projects, including data analytics and predictive modeling.
- Build/maintain dashboards using Spotfire, Tableau, and Power BI; contribute to open-sourced coding in R and Python.
- Develop and maintain core software engineering infrastructure for data platform engineering & operations (data wrangling, data logging, performance benchmarking, multi-platform integration).
- Contribute to data engineering/analytic pipelines and data platforms.
- Coordinate with other development teams to improve collaborative data management, interoperability, and shared infrastructure.
- Monitor data capture systems to identify inefficiencies and remove bottlenecks.
- Support internal and external R&D projects; mature POCs into production-quality tools.

Qualifications:
- BS in Computer Science, Software Engineering, or related field with 11+ years relevant experience; or MS with 9+ years; or PhD with 3+ years.
- Minimum 8 years combined analytical-environment experience using SQL, cloud environments, AWS, Python, DevOps, and RStudio.
- ETL pipeline and data pre-processing experience; statistical concepts; able to work in multiple languages (Python, R, Scala, C/C++, SQL).
- Strong understanding of analytical software (Spotfire, Minitab, MATLAB) and experience maintaining multi-contributor (open/closed source) pipelines and/or enterprise systems.
- Prior direct technology implementation for biologics, pharmaceuticals, or devices (manufacturing or support function) is highly desirable.
- Experience interacting with vendors, integrators, and consultants during studies and system implementation.
- Ability to collaborate with multi-functional teams (developers, engineers, scientists).

Preferred:
- Exposure to Spark, Databricks, data lakes, data QA tools, and ML tools (plus).

Benefits:
- U.S. base salary range: $137,000.00 - $215,270.00
