Role: Senior Clinical Scientist supporting Avalo's immunology-focused clinical programs, primarily in late-phase development of anti-IL-1Ξ² biologics for inflammatory diseases. Responsibilities include leading clinical data review, interpreting efficacy, safety, biomarker, and PK/PD data, and contributing to End-of-Phase II/III strategy, regulatory documents, and study design. Collaborates closely with cross-functional teams such as Clinical Operations, Data Management, Biometrics, Pharmacovigilance, and Regulatory Affairs to ensure data integrity, study quality, and regulatory readiness. Provides scientific leadership in clinical trial execution, supports safety monitoring, and contributes to regulatory submissions and publications. Requirements: Advanced degree (PharmD, PhD, MS, MPH) in life sciences or related, with 6+ years of biotech/pharma experience in clinical development, including late-phase trials. Demonstrated expertise in clinical data review, interpretation of efficacy and safety data, and supporting Phase II/III programs. Preferred qualifications include immunology experience, analytical skills, and knowledge of external datasets (biomarkers, labs, imaging). The role involves significant cross-functional interaction, scientific documentation, and regulatory support, with a focus on inflammatory and immunological indications. Located in a flexible work environment with no specific travel requirements.
