Sr Bioinformatics Scientist

Role: Senior Bioinformatics Scientist supporting R&D in DNA synthesis and protein solutions, developing computational algorithms and predictive models to analyze sequencing, DNA synthesis, and protein characterization data. Responsibilities: partner with experimental scientists to formulate hypotheses, analyze NGS and other datasets, develop workflows with Nextflow, evaluate methods, and communicate findings to guide product development and scientific understanding. Requirements: Ph.D. (3+ years), Master's (6+ years), or Bachelor's (8+ years) in bioinformatics, computational biology, or related; strong Python skills; experience with NGS, molecular biology, and algorithm development; expertise in statistics, experimental design, and reproducible workflow creation. Preferred: protein data analysis, machine learning, high-throughput data integration, cloud computing, established methods impacting product decisions.
