Role: Senior Automation/Controls Engineer supporting radiopharmaceutical manufacturing at RayzeBio's Indianapolis site. Responsibilities: design, develop, maintain, and optimize automation and control systems for clinical and commercial radiopharmaceutical production; manage system integration, validation, and lifecycle; lead deviation investigations, CAPA, and change controls; oversee vendor relationships and ensure GMP/regulatory compliance; provide technical leadership in commissioning, validation, and upgrades; support facility expansions and implement automation platforms including PLC, HMI, SCADA. Requirements: minimum 7 years in automation/control engineering within regulated industries, BS in Electrical, Mechanical, or Automation Engineering; experience with Rockwell/Siemens PLC, SCADA, HMI, Cognex vision, robotics, and process instrumentation; strong troubleshooting and GMP knowledge; proven leadership skills. Preferred: MS or advanced degree, experience with radiopharmaceuticals, data historian systems, and IT infrastructure. High-value: focus on radiopharmaceutical manufacturing, cGMP environment, regulatory compliance, automation system lifecycle management, and collaboration with engineering, production, and quality teams. Work setup: on-site, with up to 15% travel; working in laboratory and GMP production environments with PPE and radioactive materials.
