Role Summary

The Shop Floor Scheduler supports the Lebanon API Supply Chain team by managing process orders and batch records daily, providing frontline support to ensure an accurate schedule. This role covers short-term (0–3 months) and long-term (3–24 months) Lebanon API scheduling, facilitates documentation for manufacturing personnel, provides on-the-job training, and works as a SME with the Master Scheduler. The role involves on-site responsibilities at Lebanon, IN.

Responsibilities

  • Provide day schedules to the production floor to maintain efficient plant operations and achieve target API output.
  • Lead or facilitate production/shop floor meetings where applicable.
  • Provide weekly and monthly metric updates to monitor and track plant operational performance.
  • Lead and support Lebanon API OSSCE processes.
  • Manage short- and long-term production plans.
  • Convert, verify component availability, and release process orders for the shop floor.
  • Drive operations, QCL, and QA to meet shop floor conformance expectations.
  • Run MRP (Materials Requirement Planning).
  • Conduct local recipe audits.
  • Maintain S4 Hana master data and function as a power user for SAP.
  • Input production plan into the master schedule and maintain scheduling parameters (time fences, lead times) that drive MRP.
  • Responsible for data in SAP R/4, including creation/change of BOMs, Resources, and Recipes maintenance.
  • Manage and review local data changes; troubleshoot data issues in SAP where applicable.
  • Strict adherence to all safety policies and PPE requirements.

Qualifications

  • Required: Bachelor’s degree in supply chain management or related field.
  • Required: 3+ years of supply chain planning experience within a manufacturing environment (preferably FDA/ISO regulated).
  • Required: Functional expertise in SAP, Veeva, TrackWise, and Microsoft Office (as applicable).
  • Preferred: Strong analytical skills, extreme accuracy and attention to detail, ability to prioritize multiple projects, and effective teamwork and communication abilities.

Additional Requirements

  • Short-term assignment may be at domestic or international location.
