Responsibilities:
- Actively participate and collaborate in the day-to-day activities of the R&D Chemistry peptidomimetic purification team.
- Perform mass-triggered HPLC purification of novel peptidomimetic drug modalities using modern purification instrumentation/detection and techniques.
- Troubleshoot and optimize peptide purification methods; enable high-throughput purification and isolation.
- Identify new strategies and technologies for peptidomimetic purification to improve existing techniques.
- Participate in departmental, cross-functional, leadership, and external meetings to contribute expertise and represent the team.
- Interact broadly with other internal groups to forge relationships and collaborations.
Qualifications/Requirements:
- Bachelorβs degree required; Masterβs degree preferred in peptide, peptidomimetic, or small molecule purification.
- Minimum of 5 years of industry experience.
- Extensive hands-on experience with HPLC purification/detection and method troubleshooting of peptidomimetics.
- Preferred: hands-on experience with Waters and/or Agilent purification systems; hands-on experience with mass-triggered collection.
- Experience with high-throughput purification.
- Extensive experience running modern purification/isolation equipment and instrumentation.
- Track record of success in peptidomimetics or small molecules purification.
- Essential: collaborative experience with internal and external organizations (e.g., CROs).
