Sr. Associate Scientist β Neurotherapeutics (Onsite) | Location: Tarrytown, NY

- Conduct lab experiments and research studies to validate therapeutic targets for neurodegenerative diseases
- Establish new models of neurodegenerative diseases to support target discovery
- Screen preclinical therapeutic candidates to advance promising programs
- Advance technologies that more effectively deliver therapeutics to the central nervous system
- Perform in vivo experiments (stereotaxic surgeries, brain/systemic injections, mouse handling, blood/tissue collection)
- Run biochemical and immunoassays (immunohistochemistry, immunofluorescence, Western blotting, ELISAs; tissue lysis and processing)
- Analyze data using HALO, PRISM, and Excel
- Stay detail-oriented and organized while managing multiple tasks in a fast-paced environment
This Role Requires
- BS with 3β6 years of laboratory research experience, or MS with 2β5 years
- In vivo experience (stereotaxic surgeries, brain/systemic injections, mouse handling, blood/tissue collection)
- Experience with biochemical/immunoassays (IHC/IF, Western blot, ELISAs)
- Data analysis experience with HALO, PRISM, and Excel
- Strong communication and organizational skills; ability to work well in a team
- Preferred: knowledge of Alzheimerβs biology and passion for scientific research
