Role: Senior Associate Scientist I (Microbiologist)

Responsibilities:
- Perform routine microbiological release testing for radiopharmaceutical manufacturing: sterility, bacterial endotoxin (BET), bioburden, and media qualification.
- Conduct method qualification/verification/validation; troubleshoot assay issues and support out-of-trend (OOT) evaluations.
- Lead/support investigations and continuous improvement (e.g., new technologies, data visibility).
- Document testing accurately (worksheets, logbooks, electronic systems), ensure data integrity, and maintain inspection-ready documentation.
- Maintain aseptic technique/gowning; ensure calibration/qualification/expiry of materials/reagents; follow EHS and waste procedures; support lab maintenance/inventory.

Qualifications:
- BS/MS in Biology, Microbiology, or related Life Science with 3–5 years relevant experience in production or QC in a cGMP/FDA regulated facility.
- Experience with sterile manufacturing and/or radiopharmaceuticals strongly preferred.

Skills/Requirements:
- Able to work independently or in a team; strong written/verbal communication.
- Demonstrates ethics/integrity/confidentiality.
- Comfortable with cleanroom PPE gowning, ionizing radiation work; able to lift 40 lbs.
- Uses AI tools to enhance productivity/quality.

Compensation/Benefits (as stated):
- Indianapolis, IN: $82,236–$99,650; additional incentive/stock may be available; health, wellbeing, 401(k), disability/life, and Paid Time Off (plus other eligibility-based leave).
