SR. ASSOCIATE SCHEDULER I
What You Will Do
- Develop and maintain finite schedules for downstream manufacturing operations (equipment constraints, labor availability, campaign sequencing, product priorities, inventory requirements).
- Monitor schedule execution; track adherence, identify risks, and drive mitigation plans to minimize delays and product impact.
- Perform scenario modeling/capacity analyses and evaluate alternative scheduling scenarios for decisions, demand changes, shutdowns, and new product introductions.
- Collaborate cross-functionally with Manufacturing, Supply Chain, Warehouse, Maintenance, Engineering, and Quality to resolve conflicts and ensure execution readiness.
- Drive continuous improvement in scheduling processes, cycle times, equipment utilization, and planning accuracy.
- Manage risk by evaluating constraints (equipment downtime, raw material availability, staffing limitations, quality events) and adjusting schedules.
- Develop and communicate KPIs for schedule adherence, throughput, asset utilization, campaign performance, and planning accuracy.
What We Expect Of You
Basic Qualifications:
- High school/GED + 4 years’ experience in Manufacturing, Engineering, Business Analysis, or Computer Science OR
- Associate’s + 2 years OR
- Bachelor’s + 6 months OR
- Master’s.
Preferred Qualifications/Skills:
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills; ability to understand and visualize production models.
- Experience with finite scheduling, production planning, or supply chain scheduling.
- Ability to balance competing priorities and optimize schedules across manufacturing assets under constraints.
- Excellent communication and stakeholder management.
- Experience in fast-paced manufacturing with changing priorities.
- Experience supporting continuous improvement (cycle time reduction, throughput improvement, asset utilization).
