Role: Senior Associate I, Manufacturing Production Process Engineering—PCB at Alcon, supporting the PCB Engineering business within manufacturing operations. Responsibilities: design, develop, and implement efficient mass production processes, optimize manufacturing layouts, specify procedures for equipment fabrication, troubleshoot production issues, and ensure compliance with GxP regulations and SOPs. Collaborate with product design and manufacturing teams to enhance process efficiency, quality, and regulatory adherence. Requirements: Bachelor’s Degree or equivalent experience; 2+ years in optics engineering or manufacturing; onsite work; 0-10% travel; proficiency in English. Preferred: experience with PCBAs, Surface Mount Technology, Automated Optical Inspection, In-Circuit Testing, or medical device manufacturing. High-Value: focus on optoelectronic manufacturing, GxP compliance, process innovation, and supporting regulatory adherence. Work setup: onsite with limited travel, potentially at Associate I or II level depending on experience.
