Who You Are

This role involves contracting responsibilities across the BridgeBio portfolio with a specific focus on back-end systems and processes, including Purchase Orders. This role leads internal management of tracking and reporting related to contract status and execution across all BridgeBio affiliates and programs within the clinical development portfolio. This role is a champion of cross-functional relationships and processes related to contracting, financial tracking and approvals, purchase orders, and payment terms.

This position will work closely with all levels of internal and external stakeholders to ensure the successful implementation and compliance with Outsourcing business processes as well as provide support for the growth and optimization of Outsourcing infrastructure, metrics, analytics, reporting, and tool development. This role will be responsible for organizing fully executed agreements and approval requests; measuring and tracking contract and purchase order health; preparing documentation and tracking reports for finance, legal, and functional meetings and decision-making, and fostering an environment of collaboration and transparency between internal stakeholders and external business partners.

Responsibilities

  • Supports and manages department-level projects for Clinical Outsourcing and maintains productive cross-functional relationships with other central business partners such as Finance, Legal, Accounting, and Clinical Operations.
  • Manages Clinical Outsourcing tools and trackers including updates, reporting, and benchmarking.
  • Facilitates all back-end contract-related processes including uploading documents into contract management systems, filing final contracts in corresponding folders, and submitting Purchase Order requests in finance systems.
  • Tracking Purchase Order approvals, status, and utilization and managing Purchase Order lifecycle.
  • Preparing department-level documentation for internal meetings and to support business requirements including Finance Approvals, Contract Requests.
  • Develop and maintain Outsourcing SharePoint site and department communications.
  • Consolidate vendor governance KPIs and data to central reporting performance dashboard.
  • Creates and maintains the Vendor Contact List; may support team and other key stakeholders to build, implement, and maintain a vendor database.
  • May support contract and financial approvals and signature process with clinical vendors in accordance with corporate policies.
  • May facilitate and support vendor contracting including Confidentiality Agreement administration and expiration tracking.
  • Assists with creation and formalization of Outsourcing templates and tools.
  • Liaises with internal business partner functions such as Finance, Accounting, Procurement, Legal, Quality to obtain and provide information and reports related to clinical vendors as needed.

Education, Experience & Skills Requirements

  • B.S. or B.A. or equivalent degree.
  • Minimum 3 years in biotech/pharma/clinical research industry or comparable industry experience.
  • Basic understanding of and previous experience with contracts processes, contracts management, reporting, and Purchase Orders.
  • This role is hybrid based in the San Francisco office.

Salary

At BridgeBio, we strive to provide a market-competitive total rewards package, including base pay, an annual performance bonus, company equity, and generous health benefits. Below is the anticipated salary range for candidates for this role who will work in California. The final salary offered to a successful candidate will depend on several factors that may include but are not limited to the type and length of experience within the job, type, and length of experience within the industry, educational background, location of residence, and performance during the interview process. BridgeBio is a multi-state employer, and this salary range may not reflect positions based in other states.
