Role Summary

Senior Associate Brand Manager with CPG industry experience to join Perrigo Marketing Team, based in Morristown, NJ or Grand Rapids, MI with a hybrid working schedule.

Responsibilities

  • Brand Performance & Competitive Surveillance & Reporting: Lead weekly & monthly performance reporting based on consumption, media, brand health and CRM data. Monitor category and brand performance to inform strategy and/or tactical pivots. Partner with Insights & Analytics to leverage marketing mix data and optimize resources to drive brand penetration. Own consumption forecast and analyze performance on weekly & monthly basis.
  • Social & Digital Media Planning: Work with retained agency partners to ensure robust social and digital planning across channels. Build first party data, learning and awareness.
  • Social & Digital Media Performance Management: Report on program/campaign results with KPI optimization.
  • Influencer Marketing: Execute end-to-end influencer marketing activation including brief development, coordinating with agency, vetting creators and content, ML&R review, and analyzing performance & optimize content strategy.
  • SEO: Monitor performance; coordinate article development and site enhancements to support SEO.
  • CRM: Determine use cases and test & learn plans to accelerate consumer conversion across the Opill marketing funnel.
  • Brand liaison to Customer Care and mine for consumer journey insights.
  • Shopper Marketing: Commercialize and execute in-store and online shopper strategy to support customer objectives and merchandising plans.
  • New Product Development: Own new product forecasting and demand planning.
  • Project Management: Lead cross-functional team to deliver new products, renovations, and other project needs; support cross-functional meetings and brand PR events.
  • Artwork/Graphics: Collaborate with creative services to influence packaging graphics and advertising; coordinate with Legal and Regulatory; maintain repository of graphics for sales reviews and agency support.
  • Claims & IP: Manage MLR, lead trademark activities, leverage insights to assess claims opportunities across consumer journeys.

Other day-to-day responsibilities include: Stage Gate deliverables, meeting management, project management, file maintenance, sales samples coordination, budget management, art conversions and ad hoc analyses and performance reporting.

Qualifications

  • Typically a Bachelor’s degree in Business, Marketing or related field; Master’s degree/MBA preferred, with 6+ years of experience.
  • 2-4 years of experience in CPG Brand Management, Shopper Marketing, or Retail Marketing is a plus.
  • Ability to support established business plan, demonstrate marketing creativity, strong verbal and written communication, and excellent project and time management skills.
  • Ability to influence internal teams without authority.
  • Comfort with ambiguity and uncertainty; ability to navigate unfamiliar situations and pivots.
  • Strong analytical and critical thinking skills with marketing intuition.
  • Advanced MS Excel, PowerPoint, and Word skills.
  • Self-motivated, detail-oriented, with deadline discipline; drives results with minimal supervision.
  • Up to 20% travel may be required.
