Sr. Associate, Automation & Control Engineering

Role: Senior Associate, Automation and Control Engineering, supporting manufacturing systems at Johns Creek, GA. Objectives: design, optimize, and troubleshoot automation controls to ensure efficient 24/7 production of contact lenses with high safety and quality standards. Responsibilities: lead development of process improvements, oversee equipment installation, adapt designs for safety/performance, develop control systems (PLC, SCADA), perform troubleshooting, generate documentation (SOPs, validation protocols), and participate in capital projects and continuous improvement efforts using Lean and Six Sigma methodologies. Qualifications: Bachelor's degree or equivalent experience; 2+ years in automation/control engineering; proficiency in PLC programming (Beckhoff, Siemens), SCADA, and regulatory compliance (GMP). Preferred: extensive automation experience, safety PLC concepts, high-speed medical device manufacturing, and proficiency with MS Office tools.
