Sr. Analyst, Compliance

Job Overview

Reporting to the Senior Director, Compliance, the Senior Analyst, Compliance will work in close partnership with internal and external business partners to help the Compliance team with the implementation, ongoing maintenance, and continued improvement of Kiniksa’s Compliance & Ethics program.

This role is based in our office in Lexington, Massachusetts and follows the Company’s hybrid schedule for office-based employees, which includes 4 days in the office and 1 day remote.

Responsibilities

  • Help drive the development, deployment and monitoring of Compliance & Ethics training and communications.
  • Oversee the management of all Compliance & Ethics policies, procedures, and guidance, including ensuring timely review, updating documents to align with Company standards and industry regulations, and supporting effective communication of policies, procedures and guidance.
  • Assist in the development and maintenance of Compliance & Ethics documentation and systems to collect, analyze, and track compliance data, and any action items taken, as well as testing of controls.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to provide guidance and support in implementing compliance initiatives, resolving issues and addressing questions.
  • Support reporting on the status of the Compliance & Ethics program activities on a regular basis, including the intake of all inquiries through the Compliance Mailbox and generation of subsequent compliance metrics for senior leadership and the Compliance Committee.
  • Help manage the Compliance & Ethics third-party due diligence and risk management program, including initial intake and monitoring of third parties.
  • Assist in conducting both in-person and virtual monitoring and auditing of Commercial and Medical activities to ensure compliance with applicable laws, regulations, and Company policies.

Qualifications

  • Requires a B.A./B.S. degree or equivalent
  • 2+ years of compliance, ethics, audit and/or other related experience preferred
  • Knowledge of, or experience in, laws, regulations, and industry guidance applicable to the pharmaceutical industry, including but not limited to aggregate spend and transparency reporting requirements, Fraud, Waste and Abuse (FWA) regulations, anti-kickback statutes, U.S. Health and Human Services Office of Inspector General Compliance Program Guidance, state/local marketing and price reporting laws
  • Certification in Healthcare Compliance (CHC) or as a Certified Compliance & Ethics Professional (CCEP) a plus
  • Strong operational and project management skills
  • Excellent organization, communication, and presentation skills
  • Candidate must have strong team orientation and problem-solving skills
  • Customer service oriented with high attention to detail
  • Strong commitment to compliance and ethical standards
  • Proficient with Microsoft Office suite (Excel, PowerPoint, Word, Outlook, SharePoint, etc.)
  • Ability to travel upward of 20%
  • Salary is commensurate with experience
