Summary
This position requires performance-driven individuals with strategic problem-solving skills and high business acumen, collaborating with multiple stakeholders. Ideal candidate has sales experience in pediatric endocrinology clinics and/or comparable experience in rare disease. Experience launching a first-in-class therapy and building new therapeutic markets desired.

Responsibilities
- Achieve area sales objectives, market penetration, new patient starts, and revenue targets (quarterly/annual).
- Drive demand through clinical selling and education to referring and treating HCPs focusing on skeletal conditions, including cold calling on key accounts for access.
- Implement an effective business plan to guide strategy/tactics and track progress.
- Develop and maintain relationships with key stakeholders (Pediatric Endocrinology, Pediatric Orthopedics, Genetics, and key referring physicians/Pediatrics).
- Participate in disease awareness efforts and burden/natural history activities at professional society meetings (local/state/regional) as assigned.
- Collaborate with Skeletal Dysplasia brand team and other functions (MSLs, Market Access, Compliance, and internal stakeholders) as needed.
- Become an expert in clinical data and communicate its significance.
- Provide business insights on assigned accountsโ€™ clinical practices.
- Maintain compliance with training, policies, guidelines, and best judgment.
- Work effectively with ambiguity; remain agile as the organization evolves.

Scope
- Work some evenings/weekends as needed for educational events (in-person/virtual).
- Manage a multi-state territory with a diverse customer base.
- Overnight travel 40โ€“60% (depending on geography/business needs).
- Strong virtual skills to meet HCPs/caregivers virtually.
- Cold calling on all targeted specialties is required.

Requirements
- Bachelorโ€™s degree required.

Preferred Experience/Skills
- 5+ years biotech/rare disease sales with technically challenging, first-in-class specialty products.
- Office-based selling with complex referral-to-prescriber model in a newly created market.
- Field team model experience (field clinical support and reimbursement hub).
- Pediatric Endocrinology and/or Pediatric Orthopedics.
- New product launch experience (preferably first-in-class).
- Direct patient/family experience.
- Commitment to long sales cycles to create a medical home.
