Spring + Summer 2027 Co-Op - Manufacturing Science & Technology

Role: Support risk management documentation remediation activities in manufacturing processes and product lines at Alcon, focusing on organizing, reviewing, and updating technical documents for compliance and process improvement. Responsibilities: assist in reviewing risk assessments, failure analyses, and control documentation; update documents based on stakeholder feedback; maintain trackers and project documentation; help map manufacturing workflows; facilitate cross-functional meetings; organize technical information; escalate issues as needed; contribute to audit-ready documentation. Requirements: pursuing a Bachelor's or Master's in Biomedical, Chemical, Mechanical, Industrial Engineering or related fields; minimum GPA 2.8; enrolled at least one semester before and after internship; demonstrate leadership skills; authorized to work in the US; full-time commitment for Spring and Summer. Preferred: familiarity with risk management principles, FMEA, and structured problem-solving; experience with MS Office tools; interest in regulated manufacturing environments such as medical devices or pharma.
