Specimen Processor III - 2nd shift

Role: Senior Specimen Processing Specialist responsible for accessioning, sorting, and data entry of clinical specimens in a high-throughput laboratory setting. Objectives: ensure specimen accuracy, timely processing, and support laboratory and client needs. Responsibilities: prepare specimens, troubleshoot issues, communicate with client offices, perform special services like spin/freeze/split, and maintain accurate data entry. Requirements: High School diploma or GED; 2+ years of laboratory, healthcare, or related experience; proficiency in computer skills; ability to handle biological specimens and lift up to 40 lbs. Preferred: prior Labcorp experience.
