Specimen Processor II

Role: Specimen Processing Specialist responsible for preparing, labeling, and sorting laboratory specimens in a high-throughput clinical environment. Objectives include ensuring specimen accuracy, timely data entry, and proper shipment to testing facilities. Responsibilities encompass specimen accessioning, troubleshooting, communication with client staff, and maintaining quality standards. Requirements: High School diploma/GED, 1+ year experience in clinical/laboratory settings, proficiency in data entry, handling biological specimens, and familiarity with MS Office. Preferred: healthcare industry experience, team-oriented skills, ability to lift 40 lbs., pass a color blindness test.
