Specimen Processor I

Role: Specimen Processor I supporting high-throughput laboratory specimen handling at Labcorp. Responsibilities: prepare, unpack, identify, label, pack, ship specimens; perform accurate data entry and resolve specimen issues within established SOPs; meet departmental productivity goals. Requirements: High School diploma or GED; comfort handling biological specimens; strong organizational, data entry, and teamwork skills; ability to lift 40 lbs; pass color blindness test. Preferred: 1+ year experience in lab, accessioning, or manufacturing. High-Value: clinical specimen accessioning and sample sorting; fast-paced, high-volume environment; focus on accuracy and specimen integrity. Work setup: on-site in Knoxville, TN; schedule Monday–Friday, 7pm-3:30am, rotating weekends and holidays.
